Summary
Rin is missing, whether dead or alive, buried or burned, he is missing. When the call comes, Sae Itoshi is too deep in the world of football to care about anything else and certainly not the fate of a brother he cut ties with long ago. But the voice on the other end isn't offering condolences or updates on a game score. It's the police, telling him that Rin Itoshi has been missing for 48 hours.
Dragging the prodigy from Madrid's stadium to Tokyo police station. Brought here by the same person he had abandoned and as the search for Rin intensifies, a dire realization takes place that something far more sinister is at play. No amount of fame, glory, or stadium lights can save someone who is willing to drown. Yoichi and Meguru somehow get involved in Rin's plans too, and together they begin to manipulate Sae's and Ryuusei's relationship until their wedding day. Rin does everything he can to make Ryuusei look bad, but will Sae even believe his lies and cancel the wedding in the end?
