"Lecter, this is Will Graham. Will, this is Hannibal Lecter. He will be your roommate, if you need anything, feel free to ask him. Summary
"I found myself feeling cold in a place familiar and yet unrecognizable to me. It smelled right, but it felt wrong. The woods were a comfort, the snow a trusted but temporary seasonal companion. Usually. But this was not usual."
---
This work begins (and will remain so for now!) as a retelling of Shiizakana (s02, ep09) wherein Hannibal is a vampire and Will is a werewolf.
Other characters will also be tweaked to fit into such an AU. (Freddie Lounds will be the world's most insufferable cryptid hunter on r/vampires-are-real, Jack is also a werewolf, etc.)

Summary
Hannibal comes closer to Will. He is sweating, his pale face is wet with perspiration, making his hair stick to his temples. As he comes nearer, Hannibal can see that his long lashes are clamped together, even darker now from crying, there are dried up tear tracks on his cheeks which Hannibal longs to lick and taste the salt of his skin. He stops a step away from Will and Will sways closer, leaning his head on Hannibal’s thigh. He is scorching even through all the layers of clothing Hannibal has on. Hannibal forgets to breathe.

Summary
All Holly Potter wanted was to teach bored undergrads and drink firewhiskey in peace. Instead, she’s knee-deep in serial killers, cannibal dinner parties, and unsolicited life advice from psychopaths, armed with nothing but sarcasm, bad puns, and a very questionable taste in men.

Summary
A full Hannibal NBC retelling/AU where Will did “stick to repairing boat motors in Louisiana.” His life in a small town is trapped in uneasy peace - until bodies begin turning up in the swamp, all killed the same way. While out on the river, he runs into one of the scenes and makes a startling discovery: he can almost see what happened and understand why the killer did it - and it terrifies him. He flees the scene, but is soon tracked down by the BAU for his involvement in the scene, forcing him to confess what he saw and become involved in the investigation or be blamed for a crime he did not commit. Doubting his story, Jack decides to have an esteemed, oddly charismatic profiler and psychiatrist from Baltimore profile Will to determine whether he is a suspect or an asset. As Will speaks with the Doctor and grows closer to him, he begins to doubt his own memory and innocence, and it seems that whether he's found guilty or not he will never return to any sort of peaceful life again.
CW: Violence typical of Hannibal, though I avoid overly detailed descriptions. Mentions/themes of anxiety/depression and suicidal thoughts from !depressedwill, themes of manipulation/control. Slowburn because Will hates Lecter's guts.

Summary
Adeline likes Will Graham. A quiet man with a soft, closed lip smile, an endearing mop of curls, and dog hair habitually decorating his clothes. She met him as his veterinarian, bumped into him often when he volunteered at the same shelter she did; occasionally had run-ins at the only local grocery store.
He’s nice to animals.
It seems like a small thing, but it’s really not. Vet medicine was infamous for its high suicide rate, and anyone close to the field could see plain as day why. Animal neglect, abuse, vitriol from ignorant clients.
Pleasant, handsome men who doted on their dogs like children were far and few between.
//////////
Everyone has their own skeletons in the closet, and Will Graham discovers what his usual veterinarian's are. A dark interest quickly turns to a darker obsession, and his partner--Hannibal Lecter--isn't known for overlooking peculiar opportunities.

Most beloved. The most beloved of the Greatest Greek to walk the earth; Patroclus. Oftentimes, you hear of the fall of Patroclus and the rage it was followed with by Achilles. Instead, I would like to focus on his rise to his full potential; his final becoming. This telling of the story starts not in Greece with Homer's tales, but in Wolf Trap Virginia, with a wreck of a man and the one taking notes on his mind. Worrying, Anger, Tears, Effigies, and Redemption are sure to be found at the end of the line, after the last teacup has shattered. Yet one must realize and truly admire the becoming of the lamb to the wolf.

Summary
After surviving perfectly fine on his own, Will is kidnapped from his home and forced to work for Il Monstro in the remains of Baltimore.
Is that a good thing? A bad thing? Will has a journey to find the answer, all while remaining his sassy dog-loving self.
Author apologies for the excessive use of "Good boy"😅
Will may not be very canon-accurate because he's younger (around 19-20) and was raised half feral. Hannibal's in his mid-30's. Nobody's age is super clear cause you lose track of birthdays during a zombie apocalypse!
