After a grueling surgery and extremely close brush with death, Emilie Holmes thankfully remains alive and well. As well as a chronic alcoholic with an aversion to paperwork and very skewed moral compass can be, at least. The doctor has made many mistakes in her adventurous life, but falling in love with her detective partner might be the worst of all.
Her current circumstances are a close contender. Arriving at said woman’s identical twin’s doorstep while soaked to the bone and craving warmth she has no claim to, Nathalie erred enough to look into Amelie’s soft, concerned eyes. Being dragged into her manor and subsequently her bed…may not be the most regrettable accident.

When a tragedy occurs in the skies above Flamel, San Diego related to an entity known as a Akuma, Celosia Barnes and Haruo Machida find themselves in Paris, France in the middle of the continous battle between Ladybug and Chat Noir against Monarch as the two reach the pinnacle with their war with him.
Posing as students at the Collège Françoise, Celosia and Haruo soon realise this isn't going to be a simple case involving hunting down and killing Monarch. They soon realise how powerful and dangerous the Miraculous as a whole Is and how they pose a threat to both the World and how the people's use of them could threaten to expose the supernatural world to all of humanity.
The two soon aim to resolve all threats involving the Miraculous while hunting down Monarch.
But Monarch himself is losing patience (and sanity) at this point and he's willing to stop anyone from interfereing with his plans of resurrecting Emilie, even if it results in death.
(Takes place during Season 5 of Miraculous with a few changes in the timeline and sometime after the third arc of Hitman Detectives.)
