Chishiya has always known his uncle wasn’t a good man. He knows his parents tried to keep him away and sheltered from the man’s seedy lifestyle, and honestly he didn’t have much interest in his uncle's life, perfectly content with only seeing the man at barbecues and birthdays to get an envelope of cash, even if a bill had blood on it that one time.
When he was fourteen he was old enough to be more perceptive, and pretty sure his uncle was in a gang, because the man always wore a leather vest with a gold crown over a red heart on the back and a patch on the front that said President. Danma’s arms had always been covered in full sleeve tattoos like a gang member too, but Chishiya wasn’t sure what kind of Yakuza shows their ink– at least what he learned from tv– so he was never completely certain.
He soon learned that Takeru Damna pimped out women and trafficked drugs from behind the closed doors of the man’s bar, that Chishiya honestly thought was more a place to have a beer or play darts.
Chishiya really didn’t have any interest in his uncle’s life…
Or at least he didn’t.
Not until Niragi Suguru.
And his life changed forever.

Arisu wakes up in a minimalistic hospital room, the walls pale and hollow. After learning about the events of the crash and how he lost Karube and Chota everything felt numb and different. As needed to clear his head and take a walk and thats when he runs into a young man with the eyes of a curious cat who also experienced the crash and survived it. Arisu felt a feeling he didn't know he could feel when he looked at the young man in front of him and with his world slowly falling apart around him. Arisu chooses to believe in those feelings and begins to open up to the man. With his world switching between the everyday and a world he swear he knew before, Arisu chooses to embrace the unknown and strive for the path ahead of him whether he likes it or not.

Arisu wasn’t anyone in particular. If he were to die or disappear, no one would truly miss him; actually, no one would really notice. You become nothing when you spend your whole life dedicated to being nothing. So, when Ann saw Arisu as something valuable, it truly surprised him.
“You could be a ♢ player, you know?”
Ann informed Arisu on the car ride back from the game named Light Bulb, which was a test to see if Arisu was talented enough for the Beach.
“I might talk to Hatter about making you an executive. You know, being one on the Beach brings a lot of perks.”
Arisu looked out of the car to see if there was any car following them. Usagi should be in the other vehicle if she were able to complete her game.
“You heard that, Arisu? You could be an executive!”
Or, Arisu and Chishiya figure out this country called the Borderlands while also figuring out their relationship and their CHILD?!
