Once upon a time, long, long ago... well, more like 20 years ago, after Dumbledore blew Grindelwald to bits... Euphemia married Fleamont potter in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, House potter gathered all the wizarding houses and got his house elected king of Wizarding Auradon. He rounded up all the families and people that sided with Grindelwald...most of the Sacred 28... basically all the people that mattered... and he booted them off to Azkaban with a magical barrier to keep them there.

Summary
It was the start of the 4th year of Hogwarts James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew were the most popular people in the school that year, people were falling all over them trying to get dates with them.
Regulus Black was not one of those people as proven by the fact that he's been ignoring James for the past 17 minutes he's been trying to talk to him, while they wait for Remus and Sirius to get to the meeting spot where they decided on this year the group had decided to go school shopping together.
So far Regulus, James, Lily, and Peter were already there and had been for about half an hour lily and Peter had been talking about how long James would keep trying to talk to Regulus, and placing bets by the time Remus and Sirius walk in the door of the quiet cafe.
(This fic is NOT a full storyline fic! It is a bunch of moments from the groups 4th year! The chapters are in order but they don’t always connect because one chapter could be only a few hours from the last one or a few weeks!)

When James mentioned he wanted to spend the day before his wedding with them, both Remus and Sirius had been a bit befuddled by the favour asked. The thing is, when you are going to get married with your girlfriend of years during a time in which you have a good and healthy relationship with your family, the logical procedure would be spending said time with your father, right? Anyways, it's James Potter. Both were incapable of saying 'no' to anything asked while those stupidly deep brown eyes framed by those long and thick eyelashes were looking straight at them. It completely changed the meaning of puppy dog eyes and made it doe eyes.
Or, Sirius and Remus try to help James relax the day before his wedding while Peter is exceptionally efficient in the background.

(i mean he told me that we had to do it but i thought he was joking at first.). he dragged me along with him and i shut my eyes as we came closer to the barrier getting ready for impact but nothing hit me i just felt a tingle go down my spine as we passed through. I open my eyes to see us on a large platform; a beautiful steam engine stood before me it was black and red with gold detailing. Remus voice cut through my thoughts "come on Nea we have to get on the train is about to leave!"
