Summary
They tore down false gods. They burned an empire to ash.
Now all that remains is each other.
Felassan offers Solas one gift: a winter away. A reprieve, he promises. A season to heal, to forget, to remember.
Snow buries the cabin, and inside its walls they chase the shape of their love—tangled on a couch too small for two, kissing until the fire burns low, then slipping outside to watch the stars wheel overhead. For a while, the world falls away, and the cabin is enough.
But the past is a living thing—and when buried, it returns. Always. In stranger roots.
A story of tenderness and ruin—of two men who love each other fiercely, even as that love slips through their hands. Even as it tears them apart.
Set 7 years before the events of Some Lies You Print. Some You Bury.

Summary
The dirt crumbled in his palm, under his fingers. It had been a dry summer, though the foliage does not seem bothered. The magic was still strong here, he thought, though he could not feel it. It had been unreachable for eleven years now; he had counted each passing second as though there might be an end to the counting.
Eleven years, eight months, two weeks, three days, fourteen hours, and two minutes. Felassan had not known magic in eleven years, eight months, two weeks, three days, fourteen hours, and two minutes.

Summary
Ellana Lavellan wrote the novel that shook the world: The Fall of the Evanuris, a haunting work of fiction inspired by the true story of drug lords so deluded, they named themselves after ancient gods.
It became a global phenomenon. A bestseller. A blockbuster. Then, a Nugflix smash hit. Fame, fortune, endless interviews.
She hates all of it.
Seven years later, burned out and creatively empty, Ellana retreats to her hometown in search of something real—maybe even herself.
But fate has a dark sense of humour.
Because tucked away in a quiet bookshop at the edge of the city is Solas—the man whose real-life tragedy she turned into bestselling fiction. The man she portrayed as a tragic antihero. The man who lived the betrayal, the blood, the fall.
And he is not a fan.
(Also, isn’t it a little suspicious that he runs a bookshop by day, and works in a club by night?)

Summary
“But I’m just a clerk!” Evie cried. “I’m nothing, a nobody.”
“And Andraste was an Alamarri tribeswoman captured and enslaved by the Tevinter Imperium. Nobody is a nobody in the eyes of the Maker,” Leliana countered.
Solas carefully crafted his plan over millennia whilst he floated in uthenera, but no plan survives first contact with the enemy. And falling for a human was never part of the plan. Every day his companions refuse to remain faceless abstracts, they are loud, they are bright, they are real, Evelyn of Crestwood more so than any of them.

Summary
The year is 2:17 Glory. Chantry forces march on the Dales in a bloody war that seems to be drawing quickly towards its inevitable end.
In the wake of a disastrous battle, an Emerald Knight casts a spell that will change history. Solas, the Dread Wolf, may be her last hope to save her country and people from destruction, if she can only convince him that the world he has woken to is worth saving.
Bound to the will of an ancient trickster god and entangled in the shadowy politics of the Lords, who would as soon stab each other in the back as they would fight their invaders, she will quickly learn that the cost of freedom will be paid for in blood. And as the people kneel to her as their divine saviour, power may cost her everything—even as its allure beckons as enthrallingly as the attentions of Fen’Harel himself.
Holy war has been declared, and gods demand sacrifice. When no easy choices remain, Lavellan must decide how far she is willing to go for the love of her people… if the Dread Wolf doesn’t decide for her first.

Summary
Their resistance was starting to come together, she thought. She didn’t need an army or spies, even though it would be nice, what she needed was a network, and the people that had already saved Thedas once before were stepping up to help her save it again.
~
She leaned her head against his chest, listening to the sound of his heart pounding beneath her cheek. She wanted to memorise the feeling, the sound, in case the mission went sideways. She hated herself for what she was about to ask him to do. “Ar isalan na to gara galin tor vis min goes telam.” I need you to get everyone out if this goes wrong.
~
I really wanted to expand on the feeling of regrets and how Solas uses that to manipulate Rook into taking his place. The consequences of Rook's choices will be featured and explored. I intend to recount the game and fill in some gaps, reintroduce lore from the old games and add scenes I thought were missing, like breaks after major missions (HELLO, ROMANCED COMPANION DURING PRISON OF REGRETS). It's as lore-accurate as possible to the old games, but I have taken some liberties. Characters from old games will have bigger roles to play. Rated E for eventual smut.

‘Yes,' Solas says quietly. 'I believe that everyone on this boat has a secret.'
Felassan raises an eyebrow. ‘Even you?’
Solas looks out across the river, and for a moment he is dizzy with the way the waves beckon him, the little lies they tell in every shift of the tide. He should deny it, but he finds that he cannot.
‘Most especially me,' he says heavily.Solas is a famous detective with a troubled history dating back to the wars that destroyed his homeland. When he embarks on a cruise along the Enavuris River to pursue a lead in his most recent case, he encounters a passionate love triangle which comes to a fatal end.
Complicating the tragedy is the fact that the victim Justinia, heiress to the Chantry fortune, was murdered with Solas’ own gun. And then there’s the problem of his extremely inconvenient attraction to the prime suspect, Jacqueline Lavellan.
As the cruise continues through the wilderness, rapidly approaching the Veil that separates the south of Thedas from the mysterious north, Solas races to uncover the truth before the killer can strike again.

Empires dissolve and peoples disappear: song passes not away.
The rain has rendered the trees and low flower bushes in diamond-studded outlines; they are beautiful, but not so beautiful that Solas can be tempted outside. He is old enough now that he takes very little pleasure in dragging his hems through muddy grass - some things, he thinks, are better experienced from a position of relative comfort, as art might be.

There is something different about this one, and the history that she witnesses gives her insight into the beginnings of the Dread Wolf's rebellion and the mysterious nature of the All-Mother that he was so loyal to. Summary
Rook, a gifted young conservator, is accustomed to precision, science, and control. When she is assigned to the museum’s newly unveiled Elven collection, she expects meticulous study in a sterile lab - but the artefacts have other plans.
Solas, the museum’s seasoned chief curator, trusts intuition over instruments, history over hypothesis. His quiet, almost spiritual approach clashes with Rook’s rigorous methods, and their tension quickly becomes personal.
Soon, their disagreements are overshadowed by inexplicable phenomena. Haunted by vivid, disorienting dreams and sudden, mysterious pains, Rook begins to suspect that the artefacts are connected to her in ways she cannot explain - and that Solas may know more than he admits.

Summary
Title subject to change.
I am not an expert on the lore and will have made mistakes and / or I have taken creative liberties. I am dyslexic and have not written anything remotely creative in a decade but I am doing my best.
TLDR: Inquisition retelling with multiple POVs. Oh and Lavellan is from a strange clan that revere Fen'Harel and free slaves and such.
