And as always, he slipped out of the office before Kunikida could notice he wasn’t even listening, his coat fluttering dramatically behind him.
But today was different.
Today—October 3rd—was the start of his family’s annual Catch Up Bonding Weekend. It was the single most cursed tradition he had ever been roped into, and that was saying something for a man who once got buried alive for fun. Three days of pure chaos, where all of his siblings and parents were gathered in one place under the flimsy excuse of “bonding.” He could already imagine the screaming matches, the brawls, the inevitable property damage, and Mori sitting smugly in a corner like it was his own personal reality show.
