Summary
Grieving and injured, Tanjiro finds himself separated from Nezuko after their family was slaughtered. He awakens in this dark place. This is an organization called the Demon Slayer Corps, and the people here stare at him funny with blank and dark expressions. Tanjiro soon realizes that something's very wrong here, and those who dare question it do not ever come back. He must find Nezuko while trying to survive in this "Lost Organization."

Summary
The 1,000-year war against the Demon King had finally ended, thrusting humanity into a new era of peace. However, it was hard-won, with many devastating losses. The sacrifices were worth it in the end, but that didn’t mean they didn’t leave wounds that would take a lifetime to heal for the survivors.
Former demon, Kamado Nezuko, lamented being unable to properly meet many of the people from her memories before Muzan and his creations cruelly killed them. Still, she did her best to look forward to the future.
Sometimes, she would overhear talk of regrets and what-ifs. And each time, she would silently recall how she barely even had a choice in the time she lost after her humanity was stripped away from her. Could she have made a bigger difference if she could choose?
The opportunity to answer that question came with her waking up to find herself biting down on a familiar bamboo muzzle.
TLDR: Post-canon Nezuko gets thrown back in time to the start of the series with her consciousness and memories intact. She is determined to work towards a better future.

While the Serpent Hashira wasn’t particularly fond of Tanjiro, he wasn’t a total asshole to him; after all, even he can set aside his feelings about the boy to acknowledge how much of an impact he’s made in the corps. He does wonder, though, if the redhead really had that much potential to reach Hashira level or if it’s overinflated praise.
Obanai thinks it’s the latter. Tanjiro wasn’t doing so well in his training session, oddly. He doesn’t think much of it, chalking it up to be just a lucky fluke that he got a hit on him a few days prior. That is, until someone else unintentionally showed that Tanjiro wasn’t the only one who didn’t believe he deserved such praise from everyone.
