Summary
Story is set post Baldur's Gate 3 game. A romance and action story around Astarion and Tav character. World building is set in the D&D universe. Although there are occasions where I have created my own timeline and history. But overall I've kept to the Faerun world from D&D, especially in regards to the landscape.
The story has graphic depictions of sex. It is here and there, and fits with the overall romance. It is romantica. If you don't like that type of writing it is best you don't read this.Aside from that it is has a fair bit of action. It is in line with my style of writing, similar to The Promised Land.
It is my depiction of Astarion's character. I hope I have kept him true to his character, although on saying that he will go through some character growth in this.Anyway, it is me having some wonderful fun with this story. Perhaps someone will also enjoy it as much as I am.
[NOTE: To those following The Promised Land. I'm truly sorry to disappoint you by writing another story. I can't help it right now, because this story is hot in my mind and I must write it. I have mapped out alot of the story, and I an determined to finished this one. It is very near to my heart]

The sound that is torn from Rolan's aching chest resembles a drowning cat more than the pained screech of a man and it rang true through the darkness so loudly that his own eardrums felt as if they may burst. Fire lit the inside of his lungs and sent darkened embers along the back of his throat, burning a trail of scorched muscle and skin in their wake that made it impossible to swallow as saliva and blood dripped from his gasping mouth and rolled disgustingly down his chin and across his neck. He almost can't believe that the sound even came from his own mouth and if he were less delirious he might have even laughed at the absurdity and irony of it all. The once great wizard, Rolan, apprentice to the magnificent Lorroakan, lying debased and prone as he is assaulted in one of the most hideous ways imaginable.

“I’m fine, everything’s fine,” Rolan says, a corner of his mouth twitching into a frown. Eleazar’s mouth does, too, looking the wizard in the eyes as he says it. He’s sure that he’s accidentally pulling his puppy eyes, because Rolan scoffs at him and says, “Don’t look at me like that, Eleazar.” It does get Rolan to smile, though, which is a win in Eleazar’s books.
“If something is stressing you out, Rolan, I am able to talk. It’s technically my off day, so I don’t necessarily have anywhere to be,” Eleazar says, deciding he’ll simply write down who he was with in the logbook later. One of his friends— and crush, although Eleazar quickly pushed that thought out of his mind— wasn’t feeling well, and that was more important, obviously.

Eleazar runs into Rolan on his way back to Sharess' Caress from meeting with a client. The other tiefling seems stressed, and Eleazar sets out to help Rolan "relieve" it.
