Summary
Grian lives a normal, boring life, that is until he get's kidnapped and sold on the black market.
There he gets bought by a charming assassin who tells (asks) him to come on a mission with him. All he has to do is pretend to be the man's boyfriend for a little while, once it's all over he'll get back to his normal life.
Grian, not seeing any other option, agrees to this plan.

He stopped.
A static-y noise became apparent. Coming from Scar’s feet. The two of them looked down. Wrapping around Scar’s foot tightly, was.. was the void.
An odd description, Grian will admit, but there wasn’t any other word he could think of. A disgustingly familiar purple glow shimmered out of the void.
It had stars, filled to the brim with magic– banned magic Grian might add!
Before Scar or Grian could say anything, the void creature thingy, whatever it was, tugged on Scar, he slipped backwards, into the rift cave.
Something got to him before Grian did. Shoot.
Or
Grian clicks a button, him and Scar get dragged into the rift. After some mix up with a creeper, Scar and Grian now are seen as villains by this city. (And have a criminal record)
They do more vigilante work than villain work. But, all the while they have a great vacation!

Joel looks around the room, completely devoid of any colour except for white. He felt exposed, he couldn’t explain why though. Joel only had one thought racing through his mind.
“If he got kidnapped, Lizzie is probably on a killing spree right now”

After Joel won Wild Life and was going to go out by Ender pearls, a Watcher appeared and whisked him away. His friends are panicking while trying to search for him. But there is one thing that all his friends can agree on, if you mess with Joel then you better be ready to deal with his wife.(All Characters may be OCC, ONLY BECAUSE I've adjusted them to fit the story ":D)

Grian is not okay. Grian is a Beta in a world not built for him, a Beta that does not work the way he is told Beta's should work. Stuck in third life, he has nothing he needs, and so, when a heat comes that he was not expecting, he has to try and hide it from Scar. It does not really work.

"No...more..." Grian wheezed, "Please..." Inaccruacy got people killed, training with the mind that your enemy would take pity on you if you were downed and half dead would lead to a soldier's demise. That's what Jimmy taught him, ingrained into him over casual dinner conversation.
He was trying...really...but he couldn't do it.
Grian bit back a scream when his brother ignored his wishes and instead picked him up by the upper arm and wrenched him to his feet. Grian spread out his dishevelled feathers in feeble attempts at balance, swaying unsteadily on his worn out feet. His wings were conspicuous cardinal things, a strip of ruby blending into straw then cobalt, like a sunset blending into ocean. Only they looked much more put together when they were put through grueling activity and he wasn't fighting darkening vision.

The Watchers are horrible, ruthless killers who massacre entire towns without remorse. That is what Grian was taught his entire life. But how does one's perspective shift whenever a charming brunette comes into the mix?
Scar was just his enemy...he should hate him. But alas.

Grian raised an eyebrow.

Scar frowns. “Of course, Angel,” he starts, tries to play off the slip of the name that is definitely not his actual name, “I mean, what else would I do, it’s not-”
“Angel?” the figure repeats.
He decides to just face it. “Well, you’ve got - like, the wings and everything. I needed something to call you in my head.”
Then, perks up. Smiles, “Will you tell me your name then?”
Angel shakes his head. “Fat chance,” he says. Scar scowls.❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･
Scar finds 'Angel' in his garden in the middle of the night, covered in blood, bruises and code burns, with ripped silk robes and enormous white wings he doesn't seem to be quite used to. He won't tell him his name, and he's lying about what exactly he is, and about what's happened to land him in the middle of Boatem. And all of this seems to be correlating with Mumbo's... moods. It's been normal for him to grieve at this time every year, what with that freak accident server glitch seven years ago, but this year... it feels different. Like there's something more going on, that Scar just doesn't know about.

Mumbo reached him inside the cage before eyes erupted from everywhere outside the bars and they all pinned him in a glare and Grian looked at him and his face was eyes too. He changed and looked like the Grian that Mumbo knew, but it was like all the life had been scraped out of him, and his dead eyes looked through Mumbo as if he wasn’t even there.
AKA a harmless experiment on the Rift between worlds goes terribly wrong, and Mumbo and crew have to figure out how to get their favorite avian back from the Watchers, but the End Deities have a few surprises up their sleeves

Grian wakes up, clutching at his chest and his wings flailing and with a scream stuck in his throat. It never makes its way out of his mouth—there’s something blocking it.
He’s not alone in the room; he can feel hands gripping his shoulders and his face, and there are voices all around him. They’re shouting something, loud and urgent, and Grian flinches back at the noise, raising his hands to his ears. He wants to beg them to be quiet, but his mouth won’t work.
“He’s back, Grian’s back!” someone calls, and the pounding of footsteps echoes in his ears. A hand moves to cup his cheek, and a familiar voice is saying something, trying to soothe him, maybe. He clutches at the person’s wrist, and they rub their thumb against his skin, and he feels safe for a moment.
He tries to ask what happened. He can’t.
Or, Third Life was never a game. It was always meant to be a way to torture those who disobeyed the Watchers.
When Grian returns from Third Life, he returns with no voice. -

So, the moment Cleo left, Grian locked his door, tugged the curtains closed of his every window, dug two-by-one hole and climbed inside, picking his knees up to his chest and cradling them, resting his chin on top. It was a tight squeeze, especially with his wings out at full capacity behind him, but he couldn’t think of anything else to quieten the buzzing in his head.
The will to just fly away and never return, the guilt that came with it.
The want to help but the acknowledgement that if Grian was a lesser person his life would be so much easier.
