After the Kraang invasion, the Hamato Family is desperately trying to heal. Both emotionally and physically. While Donnie watches and assists his injured brothers, his body starts to fight against him. Donnie doesn't want to take the care away from his brothers, so he keeps it to himself, ultimately making everything worse.
(This fic is basically me projecting my fibromyalgia onto Donnie and seeing where it takes me.)
This is my first time writing fan fiction! I've been a writer for years, but never shared my work, so honestly, I don't know if I'm all that great at it. Critiques are welcome, just be nice about it, please :)

Leonardo's four children and students -- Bob, Nobuko, Miles, and Carmen -- are concerned and want to help, but Uncle Mikey wants to protect the kids from witnessing Leonardo's recent changes. “Hmm.” His Master mused. “Now that it’s woken up, it won’t be able to return into its cryogenic chamber. It’s useless to me in that weakened state. I suppose I will have to make a new one.” He stated. “Specimen, dispose of it.”
He visibly twitched. His heart started pounding in his ears. The shouts from the others faded from his mind as all he could hear now was ringing. The small one’s head tilted up, her big eyes staring right into his own.
He had to move. He had to obey. But he-
“Specimen.” His Master said.
And suddenly the noises were back. Too loud. He forced a step towards her. Then another. His body was stiff, his fist closed so tight his knuckles were turning white.
He kneeled in front of her. Her head moved to watch him. He placed his hands around her shoulders. He was shaking. Why was he shaking? This was just a mission. Why couldn’t he do this?
He pressed her shoulder harder, squeezing her lungs together. She was so small. So very small.
“Don’t ya fucking dare, ya monster!” The red one yelled.
She yelped.
