Ghost lifts his hand and grabs Soap by the back of the neck. The omega wants to push him away because he's an alpha touching his neck. Ghost squeezes his fingers around his mating gland and over his collar, just an open area that will have Soap docile.
The omega's grip on Ghost's wrist slackens. He feels his eyelids become heavy, all the anger he had towards the alpha vanishes. His mind is open without emotions overwhelming him. He feels calm, when he looks at Ghost the alpha is still glaring at Soap.

As he had entered the empty construction site, he had tripped over debris from the previous tenants. They hadn’t had enough time to properly move out, so there were scattered remains of lives in the empty apartments. When he saw a communal children’s play space he stood frozen for a few seconds before sinking to his knees and screaming. Fire had burst from his veins and snaked along hallways, bursting pipes and catching on old electrical wiring while Johnny sat encased in a ball of flaming rage. His tears felt like lava and his hands melted the floor beneath him but he screamed until he couldn’t anymore and then laughed until the floors above him started collapsing around him. He hadn’t controlled the fire at all which resulted in several close calls to his safety before he was able to get out of the building as it started folding in on itself. When it was done and he was home again, he had finally found a purpose to what he had previously considered a cursed existence: burn them all to ash.

For some reason, Soap suddenly thinks about have his own little family.
He doesn't know since when, and how did that thought spring up in his mind. He just simply thought, maybe one day, he can settle down somewhere back home and raise a child or two. Give them good food, warm clothes, a roof on top of their head and a warm kiss on their forehead every night before bed.
And then he suddenly wonders if Ghost had ever thought of the same thing. Might, might not. That man's heart is stone cold and he sleeps soundly in a skull mask.
But he wants a family with that man anyways. That is quite an idea. One he would love to see it someday in the future. -
