Upon hearing the news of what happened at Marineford and ultimately gaining back his lost memories, Sabo immediately went to where Luffy and Ace was being treated, an inhabited island where the Heart Pirates and the remaining Whitebeard Pirates were staying. He broke his own organization’s protocols, left his work to Koala and the rest of the Revolutionary Army to deal with, because he had to make sure Ace and Luffy were okay. He has to.

Shanks laughed again, throwing his head back slightly, the sound rich with genuine amusement.

4 years ago, Luffy disappeared out of the mountains of Mt. Columbo, only leaving his hat behind. Sabo was declared dead to anyone who lived on Goa and Ace was left all alone, as he now has to live with the guilt of being the only one left behind.
And 4 years after the initial tragedy that originally separated them, the sudden appearance of a runaway slave sparks the lost memories of the young revolutionary, as the brothers reunite, they find themselves on a journey to try to fix the broken pieces of what they once had.

Tessia has a strange Devil Fruit that grants her knowledge about past, present and future and so she knows to a traumatizing extent what will happen to the Whitebeard Pirates because of Marshall D. Teach. Tessia also knows that it’ll all start with Thatch’s murder at Teach’s hands and she desperately wants to stop it. However, when she tries to warn Marco about it before Ace even joins the Whitebeards, it goes horribly wrong and leads to a drastic misunderstanding. Tessia doesn’t give up, though, but preventing the Whitebeards’ downfall is a hard task when you’re certain nobody will ever believe you anything and when you’re also certain you can’t let them know who you are.
This is an AU to ‘The Fate of the Fire’, but it can be read on its own. My OC is the same as is the basic premise, but the Original Devil Fruit works slightly different and this work shows the story in that case.
