Summary
Deutschland, 1943.
Die Front im Osten droht in die Hände der Sowjets zu fallen, jedoch ist das auf der Napola Allenstein kein Thema. Das Internat folgt einem normalen Alltag, Schüler und Lehrer sind in ihren normalen Abläufen verankert. Albrecht Stein schreibt weiterhin Aufsätze. Friedrich Weimer trainiert seine Fähigkeiten im Boxkampf. Christoph Schneider schmachtet Katharina immer noch nach.
Doch alles ändert sich in der Nacht des 13 Oktobers, als die ruhige Ordnung der Schule in Schutt und Asche gelegt wird.
Ein Stromausfall schneidet Allenstein von der Außenwelt ab und die Ereignisse die danach folgen, enden in mehreren Morden, einer Massenentführung in die Sowjetunion und die Identitätsgrundlage der Geiseln verliert sich in Bedeutungslosigkeit.
Drei der Entführten sind Albrecht, Friedrich und Christoph, welche sich nun nicht nur im feindlichen Gebiet befinden sondern auch drohen sowohl einander als auch sich selbst zu verlieren.
Doch als ein Sowjetischer Offizier ein besonderes Interesse an Albrecht zeigt könnte es sowohl Rettung als auch Untergang bedeuten.
