All Shouto Todoroki wanted was to change the way vampire society worked. He did not enjoy the idea of hunting down humans in order to survive. He understood human blood was essential and offered an idea of negotiations with the human race so created places where humans could donate blood or if the human so chooses to allow themselves to become food for the vampires. Of course not all his kind shared his ideas. Some vampires believed humans were born just to be hunted. The head council decided to allow Shouto a chance to try his method. They too wanted peace with the humans. Shouto soon came to realize that his actions would come with a heavy price and his vampire heart froze over.
Izuku Midoriya, a 22 year old Culinary graduate, ready to move on from his past. He is an in denial alcoholic who told himself he only drinks to make the nightmares go away, or was it to forget something he lost? Izuku recently got a job offer in a rather large city far north from his small town, as a night time baker at the biggest hospital in the area. Little did the green headed cinnamon bun know, Spilling his drink on the wealthiest vampire in the city would change his life forever. Or could it have been the weird scent he gave off? -

Midoriya tries to protest, tries to insist there is nothing between them, they’re just friends, teammates, rivals sometimes even still, anything but whatever Todoroki is hinting at. But when Bakugou shifts closer and Todoroki leans in, the heat surrounding them becomes impossible to ignore. Midoriya feels cornered, but not exactly trapped.
"Fuck it, he's right."
The first kiss is clumsy, Midoriya leaning into Bakugou as their mouths press together with years of pet-up tension. Todoroki watches them for a moment before he leans forward and brushes his lips over Midoriya’s jaw, then down to Bakugou’s shoulder when he pushes aside the black tanktop of his hero costume, right across the scar covering his shoulder.
The contact sends a shiver through them all, a silent acknowledgement that this is happening; they’re about to cross a line none of them can toe back from. They end up tangled together, Bakugou aggressively shoving Midoriya down into the couch as he slips his hands underneath Midoriya’s shirt to roam them along his scarred chest.

The lack of money, the shitty mom that has beaten him till he finally has guts to move out, the never ending void that keeps growing bigger and deeper the more he shares himself in the beds which after he doesn't remember who the girl had been. He acts like he hides well the need to get shit faced to forget for even a passing second that he is less than he let's others see, that he isn't the envied star others took him.
Shouto feels like he is pretending to know how to swim, but is in reality drowning while others swim past him. He keeps the polite smile, the mask, the emptiness as a worthless float on the ocean he feels like drifting towards the rocky shoal while others gather together to find the shore.
They are lost, other deeper than he let's out, but then there is a sudden confluence in a dorm bathroom that starts to shine like a beacon in the pitch black darkness.
