Taehyung’s eyes flashed as he shoved Jungkook back, jaw tight. “I didn’t take anything. Maybe they just finally realised you’re not the centre of the fucking universe.”
Jungkook’s fist curled, chest heaving. He hated him—hated that Taehyung fit in so easily, hated that everyone liked him, hated that he couldn’t stop noticing it.
And Taehyung, staring back with fire in his eyes, looked like he hated him just as much.

The leaves danced around like small children in a playground, a light breeze cutting through the air. The definition of ‘silence is deafening’ was rather apparent to Jungkook as he sat on a bench in the memorial garden, staring into space.
