Summary
2015. One year since HYDRA fell. One year the Winter Soldier has spent on the run since D.C., tearing Europe apart trying to learn exactly who and what he is. One year of Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff and Sam Wilson trying desperately to find him. One year since Steve learned a secret in his search that could tear the Avengers apart, and one that is tearing himself apart to keep from Tony Stark.
One year of her hunting her final target. One year since she'd been issued her last-known orders — Eliminate the Winter Soldier. Even if there were no handlers for her to report to, or even a left HYDRA to serve, she still obeyed. What else could she do, but obey?
(MCU AU/Retelling, divergence set one year after CA:TWS. Bucky x Fem. OC because of course it is, I'm only human after all, but the entire MCU storyline as a whole is altered significantly as well with my own changes to the overall storyline of Phases 2 through 4. Has very soft fix-it fic energy in places. Fic is now complete!)

Summary
2015. In the months following the takedown of Zemo and the five mad Winter Soldiers in Siberia, Bucky & Alia adapt to life as nominal members of the Avengers; navigating therapy, their newfound freedom from HYDRA's programming, and their budding romantic feelings for one-another.
Couple that with Tony's growing obsession with his inability to study Loki's sceptre and the Maximoff twins interred still at the Raft, and the next few months promise to be tumultuous for our heroes, indeed...
(A '1.5' fic set between AVENGERS: WHITE WIDOW and its full sequel, AVENGERS: AGE OF WAR, setting the stage for the Age of Ultron/Civil War adaptation in my MCU: WhiteWinterVerse AU, whilst also being a bit more fluff/angst and less plot-heavy, but still plot-relevant. Fic is now complete!)

Summary
2015 through 2016. Many months after Zemo's defeat in Siberia, the Avengers have found a way to move forward. Bucky and Alia have fully-transitioned to life in New York at the tower, and Pietro & Wanda Maximoff have made progress in their own rehabilitation under the watchful eyes of Steve, Sam and Natasha. Thor prepares to take Loki's sceptre back to Asgard, with Tony and Bruce stewing in their seeming-failure to utilize the knowledge gleaned from it to realize their secretive Ultron project. Little do they know, they actually succeeded...
...And the chain of events their success kicks off will prove to be the catalyst that ultimately rips the Avengers apart, once and for all.
Peace is at its most fragile, after all, when everyone believes it is already secure.
(The full sequel to AVENGERS: WHITE WIDOW in my MCU: WhiteWinterVerse AU, covering the rewritten events of Age of Ultron and Civil War combined, picking up approximately three days after the end of THE WHITE WIDOW & THE WINTER SOLDIER interlude fic. Fic is now complete!)

Summary
2016. On the run after the fallout of the Sokovia Accords and all the chaos that surrounded them, Alia was content to go anywhere in the world after the successful Raft breakout, so long as she had her husband by her side. But when Natasha Romanoff reaches out barely a month into their time on the lam, requesting that Alia meet her in Budapest, alone, she wasn't in a position to refuse the woman she'd come to consider family.
Especially not when Natasha invokes a promise that Alia had made to her a year prior, to help Natasha find her 'sister' Yelena Belova, if Nat ever wanted to go looking. Reluctantly bidding Bucky farewell, Alia sets off for the rendezvous, to keep her word. But in Budapest, the stage is being set for the Red Room's past, present and future to all collide...
...And no Widow will emerge from the fallout unscathed.
(A '2.5' fic set between AVENGERS: AGE OF WAR and its full sequel, AVENGERS: AT INFINITY'S END, covering the rewritten and altered events of the Black Widow movie plotline in my WhiteWinterVerse AU, whilst also setting up for the Infinity War/Endgame adaptation.
