However, you're too shy to actually approach them so you come up with a plan and with the help of the shop owner you start communicating with them through books. Mammon's face went red all the way to the tips of his ears. He staggered back a step, nearly tripping over his own feet, only thing stopping him was Diavolo's hands that was holding his. "Wha? Are ya nuts?! You're the prince of Devildom! You can't just—ya don't—"
Diavolo didn't move closer, didn't push. He just held Mammon's gaze with a steady warmth that made it worse somehow. "I can, Mammon. And I am. I admire your spirit, your loyalty, your strength, even when you don't see it in yourself. I want you. Not anyone else, and I have for a while now."
