ll Might was right, he can't be a hero. After all, if the number one hero agrees with everyone else, then it has to be true. But he doesn't want to take Katsuki's advice either. So he decides to do some research. Each job requires a quirk, which initially gets him down, until he stumbles upon the black market. The black market where, for a price, he can get a new identity, a new 'quirk' profile showing he has a minor quirk like 'green hair' for example. But if he's going to do this, he's going the full throttle, plus ultra way. Izuku Midoriya is quirkless, everyone knows that. But for who he's going to be? The possibilities are endless other than hero.

Day after day, it was already routine for him. Izuku lost count of the number of times he was attacked simply for not having a Quirk. As if having his greatest dream of becoming a hero destroyed wasn't enough, they had to finish destroying the rest of his mental health.
"If you want to become a hero this way, there's a good method for it," Bakugo said. "If you think they're storing your Quirk in the other world... You should try jumping off the terrace and see what happens!"
Midoriya was startled. That had been a clear hint of suicide. He always ignored everything he was told, but this time he thought maybe this was the only way.

Maybe he was, once. But that hasn’t been true since he got the name ‘Deku.’ He has no friends. He hasn’t had friends in ten years.
There is no feel good crap coming from his idol. There is no mother to whisper comforts in his ear, tell him everything will be okay as she hugs him tightly until he falls asleep in her arms. There are no friends to defend him. There are no loving foster parents that would feed him regularly and love him like their own.
Izuku has nothing left. So he takes a final breath, closes his eyes, and he jumps.
Unfortunately for him, it doesn't work out the way he intends.

Of course, Kacchan hasn't left yet. His group of friends hover over Kacchan as he parades a notebook around. He has it open in one hand, with his other dramatically gesturing as he reads the pages.
“How to be a hero, logbook 13.” Kacchan's crimson eyes shift to meet his gaze. Izuku's face flushes as he rushes over. His heart drops. “You have 13 of these, loser?”
“Kacchan!” Izuku yells as he realizes the notebook everyone is jeering at is his. The group shakes with laughter as Kacchan flips through the pages, leaning on Izuku's desk. When Izuku is in front of him, Kacchan stands and slowly raises the notebook over his head just out of reach. Izuku tries to grab it, even reaching on his toes, but Kacchan just laughs.
“What? This important?” He runs away as he laughs with the other students, staying just out of reach.
“Give it back!” Izuku chases. He tries to cut Kacchan off, but he trips over a chair that was left slightly pushed out. The students' laughter echoes louder.
“Kamui Woods! Quirk: Arbor. Did you see that new upstart in action, Deku?” Kacchan reads out another piece of his journal while Izuku gets back up. The taller boy runs over to the window, cranking it open.

Momo Yaoyorozu is stuck in a downward spiral. She knows that she shouldn’t let her poor performance in the Sports Festival and her abysmal internship at Uwabami’s agency get to her since some of her classmates had poorer showings or went through worse internships.
Still doubts are eating away at her. Was she truly worthy of being a hero? Would she have been able to qualify for the hero course without her influential parents getting a recommendation for her? Desperate to find her footing again she had an idea. Maybe an outside perspective would help her find ways to improve and she just knew the perfect people for the job.
The star students of the Support Course Hatsume Mei and Midoriya Izuku had defied expectations during the Sports Festival. The wits, determination and sheer ferocity of the latter had carried him further than Momo, despite not having a powerful Quirk to rely on. If anybody was able to help her than it would be him.
