Haruko Warai wanted three things out of U.A. High: anonymity, access to a decent vending machine, and a quiet corner to pretend her life wasn’t being under minded by a puppeteer clown with a theatric Personity and a tendency to materialize during panic attacks.
She got… exactly none of those things. Instead, she walked into Class 1-A, lost a hand before homeroom, summoned a war crime disguised as a sandwich, and became the unwilling stage for Comedy, her Quirk and sentient disaster that's biologically wired into her spine (and into her physic.)
Now she’s trying to survive hero school without combusting—socially, emotionally, or physically. That last one’s harder than you'd think when you're legally attached to a vaudeville cryptid who thinks trauma is a punchline and self-control is a form of censorship.
There are rules.
She tries to follow them.
Comedy tries to eat them.And somewhere between detentions, hallucinations, and dodging Bakugo’s death glares, Haruko might just figure out how to exist out loud—without crumbling, exploding, or getting exorcised as a devil. Probably. hopefully, maybe.............oh god.

So when Kaminari came wandering into his room with a broken silver age All Might figurine Katsuki 100% knew Izuku had saved up his allowance for six months to buy when they were nine, and has (or had) a collector’s value of 3.5 million yen (~25k$), there was not a single doubt in his mind that the bottle blonde electric user was about to take a very fast, long walk off an incredibly short pier.
“Kaminari.”
The rest of the Bakusquad (as well as most of their class) in the common room stopped dead when their resident explosive blonde used someone’s proper name, in the formal tone, even. Most of the room hadn’t even noticed Kaminari had walked in, let alone that he was holding a broken piece of history that was equivalent to a nuclear bomb bigger than anything Katsuki could dream of creating.

Except, brute strength only works if you have enough physical strength for it to function. Bound muscles with no room to flex, blood loss, extreme exertion? Izuku couldn’t even summon the familiar buzz in his bones that told him One For All was active.
Instead, he became his childhood self, a small, weak version of himself that could do nothing but hope for salvation on rooftops and train tracks. Salvation in the form of a long sleep with no end, in the form of a quiet darkness that would envelop him.
“G-get out of here k-kid.” The villain growled. Izuku wasn’t a kid anymore, not by a long shot, but this villain was probably in his mid 50s, very much Izuku’s elder. “You’re just…just gonna g-get killed.”
“Your life…is just as valuable…as mine.”
