Ever since I came to this town, there has been one man who has continued to evade me—a detective who pukes at the slightest sight of gore and its reality. A man who seems to lurk in the shadows, putting his duties to the wayside and continuing along the lonely road on which he treads. I can’t escape the sight of him appearing in my mind. Out of everyone that I have come to know, he is the one that I know the least of, the one that I have yet to discover. I plan on discovering who this man named Tohru Adachi is. The connection I have begun to feel, I must uncover the true nature behind why my heart aches at the mere sight of him.

An alternating-POV story about Adachi using Yu’s feelings to his advantage, though soon discovering some of those feelings are mutual, though are only eventually realized through cruel means.
I plan on updating this story regularly. It might end up becoming a long fic.

However, Makoto spots a lady in red waiting outside as the talkative owner converses with Nanako. When Mika brings attention to her brother's fixation, Nanako's mood sours… but this only makes Mika more curious about who this woman could be.
