Summary
Now look, Buck knew that Eddie was just angry. Maybe he didn’t even mean the words he said. But even if Eddie thought he didn’t mean it at the time, he must’ve thought it at some point in their time together, or he wouldn’t have said it. I mean come on ‘Trials And Tribulations Of Evan Buckley, A Tragedy In 97 Acts’ You can’t just make something like that up on the spot. Buck tried to convince himself it was just because Eddie watched too many Telenovelas with Chris, but then they didn’t talk about it. Sure he brought Chris back as an apology. But he never actually said he was sorry. What was he sorry about? What wasn’t he sorry about? Did he regret what he said? And if he did, which words specifically? Then Buck started to think it was true.
So from that moment forward, he started to keep track. And for every selfish thing he did, he would do a selfless one to balance it out. Of course it didn’t take the team long to figure out something was wrong.Or
Buck spirals about his and Eddie's fight so he tries to make up for every selfish thing he does moving forward

Whumptober Day 14: Ignoring an illness
“Just need something to drink," Eddie muttered, waving him off. “I'm fine.”
He wasn't, Buck was damn sure about this. What he needed was rest, though Evan knew better than to say it aloud. Eddie Diaz didn’t stop for anything short of a hospital bed—and even then, he’d argue with the nurses."

Summary
Every freshmen class had the same project assigned for Hershey High. A Family Tree. They had to map out their families and write an essay. Evan Buckley is no exception. Unable to get help from his parents, unable to even get his sister on the phone, he's forced to resort to his own research skills. With the aid of Maddie's old project, because the teacher was the same, he's able to piece together things he'd never known.
As the years go by, it's almost like the entire Buckley family purposely forgot about the project. Not that any of them ever acknowledged when he'd finished it, but he'd thought ... it doesn't matter. Eddie's on his side, Eddie has his back. So ... he doesn't need them. Not until they can actually get their own therapy and deal with more than just Maddie surviving Doug.

Summary
The thing is, Buck has been prepared for a time loop for years now. Ever since Chimney made him watch Groundhog Day and he thought well, I think I’d rather learn how to crochet instead of the piano. He has an itinerary in the back of his mind, different skills he wants to learn when he has the time afforded by an infinite loop.
The exploding bus is a surprise, though.
---
Buck and Eddie are caught in a time loop together. Somehow, it fixes them. They just have to be a little (very) stupid first.

Summary
A hand clasped on his shoulder with a comfortable familiarity that jerked Eddie out of his stupor. He spun around, heart racing in his chest.
Buck stood over him, smiling that easy smile and wearing that nice blue jumper that matched his eyes.
“Buck?” It came out choked and pathetic.
Buck laughed like this wasn’t the most embarrassing thing that ever happened.
Buck chuckled. “Hey.” He lowered himself into the chair. He looked confused but also somewhat pleased, cheeks pink and Eyes fond. “I didn’t think you would come to an event like this.”
“I didn’t mean to.” Eddie comes out with all at once, words bursting out of his mouth. “I signed up when I was drunk. I didn’t know it was for bisexuals.”
Buck blinked slowly before he burst out laughing.'
OR
Eddie, in a fit of jealousy over Buck's successful sex life, signs up for speed dating. He doesn't realise it is an event for bisexuals until it's too late. He plans to ride the awful night out and pretend it never happened until he spots Buck.

“BUCK !!” He hears Eddie scream just a little louder than his own startled shout as he soars towards the bottom of the steep concrete staircase. Summary
"The man who died today, Evan Buckley. He was your father, honey.”
In five words, the earth gave out below Mickey. She was thankful to have been sitting on the couch’s arm, unprepared for the loss of gravity, reality, and common sense she felt mere seconds ago.
Mickey wished she’d looked closer at the broadcast, scrutinized every detail of this man’s face, and pasted it over her own until she could pinpoint the things she owed to him. She wanted to ask him his favorite color, his favorite animal, all of the things she could, and have him ask the same back out of genuine curiosity for his daughter. But now he was lost, gone before Mickey knew to miss him. Not saying a word, she stood up and marched to her room, ignoring her mother’s calls and the dinging of the heated stove. Mickey Morrison opened her phone, typed in ‘Evan Buckley’, and started to scroll, wiping the tears off her screen.
After a tragic outbreak of Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever 'kills' firefighter Evan Buckley, Mickey Morrison discovers her lost parentage and seeks out the 118 to connect with her deceased father. The only problem is, Buck isn't really dead.
