Remus Lupin reluctantly returns to Hogwarts as the new defense against the dark arts professor. Where he, on the eve of a full moon shockingly discovers that Hermione Granger is his mate. PSA: Remus is self-loathing and harbors absolutely no romantic inclinations towards Hermione until she is of age. Nothing happens between them until Hermione is of age and has some dating experience under her belt.

They make the best of friends and later dub themselves 'the Mighty Valkyries', and together they just want to excel, socialize, and make beautiful music together. If only the Marauders would let them live in peace.
This is a coming-of-age story where this group of young people are coming up during a tumultuous time in Wizarding Britain where the future looks uncertain. But they still want to experience all those milestones life has to offer. There will be romance, action, lots of humor, and very good music. But the crux of the story will be the interpersonal relationships between the characters we've all come to know and love through this fandom.
This plan is for this fic to span from 1971 to at least 1981 (the end of the war) though I might be persuaded to include an epilogue. However, this will be a big boy. Be prepared. xoxo
