Teddy is having his first earache, and they are learning one of the more fun elements of caring for a Metamorphmagus: illnesses that affect one body part tend to lead to the person involuntarily morphing that body part to try and feel more comfortable. They panic and think that he has some magical disease or bite, and rush him to St. Mungos. Unfortunately, the specialist in Metamorphmagi at St Mungo’s is on sabbatical and can’t be reached. Hijinks and anxiety ensue.

“But it was just getting good,” Teddy commented, with a laugh.
I twisted around, almost flinging myself over the bench from the force, “When did you get here?”
