Multiverse – a theory that is both familiar and strange to us. A place that is exactly like where you live, with a you who is exactly like you here. However, just a small thing, like a butterfly flapping, is enough to make the life of that you, or the whole other universe, different from your in the current one.
In that universe, because of a mistake, one of the human trafficker's goods escaped, forcing him to find something else to replenish. Poor little Viktor became the target. He was kidnapped and forced to leave Zaun for another strange land, becoming a goods - a slave.
However, Viktor refused to give up; he quietly calculated a plan and escaped. And thanks to this reckless action, Viktor met Ambessa and saved her while she was seriously injured. Seeing Viktor's potential and courage, Ambessa took him in, making him part of the Merdarda family.
Since then, Viktor of Zaun has been gone, replaced by Viktor Medarda, Ambessa's disgusting adopted son. -

Summary
Jayce Talis had counted himself fortunate – for being born in District 2 where small comforts could be found more easily than the rest of Panem, for having the Kirammans taking him and his mother under their wings after the death of his father, for having the opportunity to train for the Hunger Gamees under the mentorship of Ambessa Medarda and her daughter, Mel Medarda. Despite it all, Jayce knew the moment he was Reaped and walked on to the stage uncontested, the odds would not be in his favor.
Orphaned and always sickly, Viktor knew the likelihood that the Games would kill him before his illness could was high. Still, when he found himself Repaed as a Tribute for District 5, he promised himself that he will fight tooth and nail to survive for as long as he could.

Summary
Time is a flat circle, and it began in the middle. Some day, Viktor and Jayce will be Lamb and Wolf. Lamb remembers how and guides time through the needle of kindness. Wolf forgets, but feels what kindness is to remind her. They start at the end of the story, and have been present ever since.
A retelling of Arcane (Jayvik Focused) with cannon events and dialogue occurring, in addition to context and the time between. The magic is explored a fair bit, but you don't have to understand the science for the rest of it. I made up a past and more connections for Viktor, and tidbits from Jayce's intercontinental travels.

After meeting Viktor at the Progress Day Gala, Jayce can't seem to get him out of his head. Viktor is undoubtedly his equal in every way—unfathomably brilliant, daringly bold, and fiercely charming. He's also the prettiest person Jayce has ever seen. It should've been easy: Jayce asks him out, Viktor says yes, they get married, etc.
Except the night ended with a lot of smoke and bomb residue, a plethora of questions from everyone attending, and Viktor disappearing back into the Undercity before Jayce can beg him to stay.
Jayce's solution? Track Viktor down, ask him to move in with him, and figure it out from there.
Simple, right?
OR: Jayce falls long before he realizes just how much trouble he's actually in.

Viktor leaned back in his chair. Across from him, Jayce flipped through his notes.
"Do you ever wonder," Viktor mused, voice barely above a whisper, "what it must feel like?" Jayce glanced up, brow furrowing. "What?" Not entirely listening to Viktor.
"To connect. Not through words. Not through gestures. But through something deeper." He gestured toward the holo-display, an intricate rendering of the Na'vi queue, the biological tendril that allowed them to bond with the world around them. "Their neural network isn't just communication. It's… understanding. True understanding. To merge with another being, to feel what they feel-" He trailed off, his fingers grazing the edge of the console.
"You make it sound so mystical. It's just a biological function, Viktor." Jayce replied.
Viktor scoffed, lightly leaning himself back into his chair, a knowing smirk tugging at the corner of his lips. "Yes, and a sunrise is just light refraction, and love is just a series of chemical reactions, hmm?" Viktor waved his hand at Jayce as his elbow rested against the cold table.OR

Pre-rework LoL lore while integrating a few newer things and taking a few artistic liberties here. You don't have to know too much beyond the basic lore or nuthin. I really really try not to let it get too unhinged but I guess the author's notes are there just as a little treat or if you want more elaboration. Or you could kinda see it like Johnny's POV chapters if you've ever read House of Leaves. It's a very good book btw. Definitely better than my fanfiction, but you're here anyway, aren't you?
