Summary
Eddie and Chris had moved back to LA, back to their home (a home that, much to Eddie’s delight, belongs to Buck too), and everything has started to feel right again. With this newfound peace, Eddie has decided to really take that hot priest’s juice analogy to heart. And through his journey to joy, he’s realized two very important things:
He is definitely gay.
He is in love with his best friend/current roommateThe only other person besides Eddie who knows is Chris, who has given his approval and agreed to keep it a secret. He still hasn’t told Buck because he knows that if he tells him he’s gay, he’ll probably blurt out that he’s head over heels in love with him, too. And Eddie doesn’t know how Buck feels—and the fear of ruining the precious relationship they already have has made it an incredibly difficult topic to bring up.
So that’s how Eddie has come to find his new favorite pastime—daydreaming about the beautiful future he’s imagined for Buck and himself.
Or, Eddie accidentally tells Buck he has been imagining their future children and acts super normal about it. Buck makes a lasagna.

“If he can hear us, I don’t think I would have more influence on him than you or anyone else from the team,” Eddie shook his head.
“You really have no idea, do you?” Maddie tilted her head and Eddie finally saw the resemblance between her and Buck. He had to look away again.
“About what?”
“You’re his family, Eddie.”
“You’re his sister,” Eddie scoffed.
“Yeah, but you’re his everything.”
Or
The missing conversation between Maddie and Eddie while Buck was in a coma. Plus, the missing scene of Eddie asking Buck to stay.

Summary
Buck is pliant, both of Eddie’s hands on his neck now. His pulse thrums with every gush of blood. It’s so warm and Eddie feels so nauseous, suddenly.
But Buck is just looking at him. Just looking. “Eddie,” he says. “It’s— I think I’m okay.”
or: the malfunctioning robot cuts buck with a scalpel, but eddie is the one to spiral about it.

“Maybe we can get Ravi to time us too. What do you say, Diaz? Wanna go for the title?”
That was the last straw. Eddie’s patience snapped. He grabbed Buck by the front of his shirt and shoved him against the wall so hard they both heard the dent. Buck laughed – the reflexive kind of laugh that said he didn’t plan to back down.
“You think this is fucking funny, Buck? First you don’t answer when I call, then you hide my hair gel,” Eddie spat, each word a tight wire. “Now you want to play with your life like it doesn’t matter?”

Or; Buck never moves out from Eddie's house and he starts acting like a little shit to annoy Eddie. -

TK’s expression shifts. He smiles, a little too brightly, and a hint of a blush creeps up his neck. “Sure. I gotta mention, though, I already have a boyfriend and it’s pretty serious, so… but it was really nice meeting you, man.”
Buck, completely oblivious to the subtext, just laughs. “Well, bring him along. I already have a husband and a kid, so it’s pretty serious, too.”

Summary
“Hey May, can I call you back? This is kind of a bad-”
“Buck.”
Buck stilled at May’s voice. She sounded serious. She never sounded serious. May was practically Buck’s little sister and whenever they talked on the phone, it always sounded more like a gossip session or a sibling catch-up than anything serious.
But she sounded serious right now and Buck wasn’t sure he could handle anything else with the weight of Christopher possibly leaving the state on his plate.

Summary
The 118 was in the middle of eating breakfast when their first alarm of the shift went off. They all rushed to the trucks, waiting for their briefing from Chimney while driving to the scene.
„There was a bomb in a villa on Windsor. The house should be clear, but we have at least 2 victims trapped in there, one cop and a civilian.“ Chim explained in the engine.
"Were they able to reach the cop?" Buck asked, concerned.
"Not yet, so we have no idea if either of them survived." Chimney answered.
OR
When the 118 gets dispatched to a collapsed building they meet a few officers of the Midwilshire Devision but Buck gets trapped with one of their officers which causes Eddie to worry about him.

Summary
If Buck could build a time machine, there are three things in his life that he would change.
The first, and most glaringly obvious, is that he would have marched up to Chase Mackey and slapped the business card out of his hand. He then would scream at past-Buck and tell him what an idiotic move pursuing the lawsuit would be.
If that wasn't satisfying enough, he would go even further back to the truck bombing and position himself in such a way that when the truck went over it didn't just land on his leg. It would be kinder, he thinks, to have it all just be over. To save the 118 the extended guilt of his desperation to hang on to his imagined place in the family.
If he was the most honest with himself though, there was only one true answer for what he would do with his time machine. He would go back to before he was conceived and save the world the trouble of bringing Evan Buckley into it.
Unfortunately he hadn't figured out time travel just yet, and is instead stuck with the usual man-behind duties that comes with being the 118's biggest nuisance.

Is like a journey I just don't have a map for,"
So, baby's gonna take a dive
And push the shift to overdrive

Summary
There was this one time when Eddie was sure Buck felt the same way as him.
Buck was sitting up and leaning against the headboard, feet outstretched and crossed, phone in his hands. If you asked Eddie, he looked perfect. Eddie was lying on his stomach, facing him, feet hanging off the edge of the bed. He was reading an email from Christopher’s school and placed his phone down with a heavy sigh. Buck made this noise like a wounded animal, he made it all the time. Quiet but caring. A simple question of “Are you okay? What’s happened? You can tell me if you want to but I won’t pressure you.”
