Midoriya Izuku
He's the center of many versions of his universe. In some, he's a powerless boy gifted something beyond his imagination and he grows to be a great Hero. In others, he already has a power of his own and still strives to become the best in his own way. There's others where the boy remains powerless but makes a place for himself, even with the world fighting against him. In some, he falls down the wrong path and ends up a bitter or furious individual looking to make the world pay for what it did to him. This world, however, is one where he already has a power.
It comes with a legacy though, one that's cursed and tainted by what the public knows of his mother. It's not what the truth is, at least from what he knows, but it's what everyone knows.
He still has his sights set on Heroics, figuratively and literally. With his own version of their shared quirk, Izuku will prove that the legacy he'll live up to isn't the one of a fallen hero who's killed for seemingly no reason, but one of a hero that simply wanted to do their best for the people and save everyone they could.

During every mission, there was a goal to be achieved. During every public appearance, there were rules to be followed. Throughout his whole life, there were lines made that he never dared to cross. He knew the rules and regulations of his life like the back of his hand. He knew what to do and not do to make people happy. It was normal. People are taught what they should and should not do all the time. How they should and shouldn’t talk. Who they should and shouldn’t associate with. When and where something is or isn’t appropriate. How to be good. Hawks knew the rules and regulations like he knew the feathers on his back. He followed them down to the fine print. He made sure the HPSC saw him doing well. The HPSC was gone now, though, and something became painstakingly obvious. Other people didn’t have rules and regulations. They just lived. And now he could too. That should make him happy, this newfound freedom, but those rules and regulations… somewhere down the line they became a part of him. And he doesn’t know how to function without them.

Rei Todoroki was abused by her husband, saw her family face similar treatment, and was forced into a mental hospital. Eclipse was shunned, left to the streets, and had to make it on her own as a Vigilante.
Maybe at the very least they can find comfort in each other.
And before anyone feels the need to say it, I am aware the title is awful. Couldn't think of much else so I just went literal.

Kaina almost reprimands him for his language but it’s very likely that those are the exact words she used. She hangs her head low and huffs, tapping the corner of the box against the floor rhythmically.
“Okay, yeah, well we take stuff from him, only, ‘cus he gives gifts to good kids or whatever.” She shrugs at the boy, frustrated; explaining who Santa is shouldn’t be this fucking complicated.
Keigo looks even more suspicious now, but he’s also simultaneously so confused, that he doesn’t know which part of Kaina’s sentence he should counter first.
“I’m– I’m not a good kid.”
“You’re the best kid,” Kaina blurts out before she can stop herself.

His newest job is an undercover mission in which he provides information on UA High School, and the next generation of heroes. All he has to do is survive, not draw attention to himself, and do everything his bosses tell him to do.
But he knows he can’t stay under the radar forever. A storm is brewing, and as much as he doesn’t want to get involved, if he wants to keep his friends and loved ones alive, he’ll learn to play both the hero and the killer.
