    Summary

After a year of siege, the Trojan War is at its end, and nineteen-year-old Odysseus, captain of the Ithacan armies, is ready to go home. But Zeus commands him to slay one more foe: the infant Astyanax. Failure to do so carries a sentence of very possible death for everyone Odysseus loves.

He should take the easy way out. He should choose thousands of innocent lives over a single infant foe.

    He doesn't.
    ---------
Sixteen years after the siege of Troy, Astyanax of Ithaca has all he's ever wanted: a home, a lover, a life of privilege. But all of that hinges on the fact that almost no one in his kingdom knows who he truly is.

When Naxy's heritage is revealed, everything and everyone he loves are thrown into peril. Forced to compete for the hand of his lover Telemachus, it is all he can do to hope that he has what it takes to save the crown prince, and Ithaca herself, from the hand of the usurper Antinous.
    ---------
    Or:

A single, timeline-shattering choice sets off a cascade of destruction.

A stolen prince learns the lengths he'll go for love.

And a fallen king finally understands that only the brave choose mercy.

    Summary

Polites had died - crushed by the Cyclops’ club.

But that was not the end of him. Instead, it was the beginning of his long journey home.

Without knowing, he follows a certain king's trail, runs into the same threats and deals with them differently until he finally catches up.

This is a story about kindness and ruthlessness. About monsters and men.

    Summary

Polites frowned and shifted his weight, glancing out at the sea. The water glittered, harmless as glass. And yet—

A restlessness. A whisper. Like the hush before a storm, when the wind tastes wrong. A prickle at the base of his skull, a flicker in his chest. Nothing he could name. Nothing he could fight. Just... wrongness.

Maybe it was the knowledge that Odysseus and Penelope would be leaving soon. Maybe it was knowing that for the first time in nearly a year, Ithaca would sleep without its king. Maybe it was nothing but nerves, the aftertaste of old wars that never quite leave a man.

Or, when Odysseus leaves for a conference on the mainland, the burden of Ithaca's safety lands squarely on Polites's shoulders. But with dark shadows circling nearby and a young prince to protect, can Polites handle the weight, or is Ithaca—and Telemachus—doomed to fall?

    Summary

Theo slams her sword over and over again into the trunk of a pine tree, hacking away as chunks of bark go flying. She's not sure how long she's been at it, but it feels like hours. Her seething anger fades into uncontrollable sobs and she drops to her knees, letting the tears run and seep into the Earth below her. She flings her sword somewhere ahead of her and gasps when she hears an intake of air. Her hair cascades along the sides of her face as she looks up to see an old friend peering at her with saddened eyes, seeming to gage the situation fairly quickly. He stands awkwardly and bounces on the heels of his feet, rubbing the back of his neck,

"I didn't mean to invade your space..." Theo doesn't bother to wipe her tears away, unafraid of showing her vulnerable side with him. After a moment of staring at her hands and the soft patter of his feet against the fallen pine needles, she spots him in the corner of her eye. "May I sit?" She only nods as the man crouches beside her, sitting with his legs crossed and his butt on the ground. He's not bothered to get a little dirty when it comes to taking care of her. "Is it Odysseus?"

            "Yes..."

He's accompanied by the patron god of travelers himself, despite not having invited him.

    Summary

Telemachus of Ithaca had disappeared when he was twelve years old, two years after Ithaca's people started believing that their king, Odysseus, would never return. Now it was just Penelope holding her kingdom together. Of course, she weaved her shroud every day and unraveled it by night, a trick unbeknownst to the suitors.

However, a strange suitor is amongst the 108 of all suitors.

    Amphinomus.

    AKA Telemachus.

    However, none know this fact.

Amphinomus is believed to be one of the more decent suitors.

Sounds too good to be true, right?

    Summary

    Summary

Athena smiled and removed her helmet, placing it and her spear against the wood. "Hello, Telemachus. Do you know who I am?"

He studied her, a little shy at first. After a minute of silence, he took courage. "Athena? The goddess of wisdom?"

"Exactly." She sat right next to him.

    ***

He had stepped away, and Polites had looked away for a moment. When he looked at him again, Odysseus looked...
"Aren't you tired, Polites? Of this."

    "Of being rejected?" he asked.

    Odysseus nodded.

"Yes. I never know how you'll react, and once upon a time, everyone knew how you reacted to me. But there are no other options."

Eurylochus had told him to leave him behind. Eurylochus was stronger than him: Polites couldn't do it. Polites didn't want to go any further, he didn't want to lose anyone.

"You never swore to fight for my marriage," Helen began.

Patroclus' hand twitched before his gaze returned to where it was. "No, I didn't. Achilles did."

    Summary

When Percy and Annabeth went on a date to a new Ancient Greek exhibit at their local museum, they thought it would be a fun little outing. The plan was simple, enjoy their spring break before heading back to New Rome to finally graduate. The would go together, maybe get some overpriced lunch, make fun of the terrible depictions of their parents', the norm. What they did not sign up for was a one way express pass into past via one very angry sentient statue. Separated, angry, and on very different ground then they are used to, the two of them have to navigate gods that are more wild then they are used to, and pray that Percy doesn't get smote for his smart mouth.

    Summary

"Of course you want to tell Hector."

"That's not what I said," Polites protested. "I said he's the captain. You decided that at the meeting I wasn't at. Don't be impulsive, Hector must know—"

"Impulsive?" Odysseus echoed, and Polites wanted to punch himself. Why had he said impulsive? Why not any other word in the world?

He was tired. And he could barely hear Odysseus' complaints. Polites was tired, tired of everything and everyone, and he understood Patroclus, who had taken refuge in bed. He understood Helen, who had carried him away and then simply sat there staring at the sea.

He wasn't Hector, and he wasn't Odysseus. He wasn't born to fight, and just because he knew how to do it didn't mean he could.

"Listen," he said, already forgetting what Odysseus had just said. "You have to tell the captain what a god told you. Not doing so is mutiny."

Odysseus looked at the sack, not at him. "Fine. But I'll be the one to tell him, and no one else will know."

Without saying anything, Polites wrapped an arm around his friend and buried his face in his shoulder. He could feel his eyes watering. "I'm tired of the war. I'm tired of the dying and the screaming. And I hate, I hate arguing with you."

"We're not arguing," Odysseus said at once, his voice softer than before. His hand was warm, stroking his back. "You're my best friend."

    "And you're mine," Polites whispered.
