Alola is a region known for its open and happy citizens. Ash, however, isn't one of these citizens. He has been through hell recently, but Alola has been a nice break from the whole Chosen One stich. Well, he's not expecting a happy region like Alola to have any big issues he has to solve, but who knows. With a whole different life hidden behind his rosy smile, his classmates begin to suspect the cracks in his mask aren't part of a design. In the end, it's just another wonderful day under the Alolan sun.

Ash isn't even quite sure how he got here. One second he's being told he won a championship the next he's being told he'll be trained by Lance for the responsibility.
