Summary
Hop used to have a crush on Raihan, his older brother’s rival. He still does, but he used to too. Hop was content to let his feelings and desires remain just in his imagination. After all, there was no chance that Raihan could see him as anyone else other than Leon’s little brother. Funny how an unexpected adventure together can change a thing or two.
(The story takes place several years after the events of the game and assumes the characters were already a bit older during the game. Hop and Gloria are now in their mid-twenties, Raihan is in his early thirties).

A reimagined version of the Pokémon world set many years after the events of mainline games, in which there are many gangs, a widespread cult, a mysterious and unsolved death and, of course, the day-to-day lives of young and new Pokémon Trainers.
This is something I started writing a few weeks ago but did not finish (and deleted) because I didn't outline and I executed it in a very confusing manner. I hope this version is executed better and I hope you enjoy! :)

The Galar Gym Challenge (and by extension the overall Galar League) is being shaken up. There's a new Challenger, by the name of Ava Silva. She's in possession of a Hisuian Growlithe, a line only seen in one other place in the world: one of the Galar Champions, Shannon Masters, whose partner pokemon is a Hisuian Arcanine. The current Champion, Adriel, is surely in for a beating.
(Really, though, Lilith doesn't like this "Ava Silva" at all. It doesn't help that even Suzanne speaks well of her skill.)

As Humanity and Pokémon coexist in this fusion of settings, the story will explore themes of war, oppressive cults, and Shadow infusion, in a world where Pokémon healing and battles echo the anime in realistic, but not overtly graphic ways. Pokémon do not rip each other apart in Battles, though it can sometimes happen in the wild.
This is a very long journey fic that's kind of a Crossover with everything. But with Pokémon. So you might see characters like Shaggy Rogers, or Izuku Midoriya, but with Pokémon teams. Pokémon legends like Red, Gary Oak, and the reigning World Champion, Ash Ketchum, are also, naturally, present in the setting. Think of this slice of the Pokéverse as one where it's all coming together.
