For In-ho, who’s had to be a reliable son, brother, and formerly husband for so long, the idea of being taken care of is… simply unthinkable. But one day, when he tries to head into work sick, his neighbor Gi-hun (who he’s been unreasonably crushing on for a while but it’s fine) forces him back to bed, touching him so gently and feeding him samgyetang.
Suddenly he’s addicted, but he doesn’t know how to ask Gi-hun for more of… whatever this is. So he concocts a few “accidents” to happen to him, in hopes of drawing Gi-hun closer and satisfying this new need of his.

Summary
During the planning stages of Gi-hun’s obsession with the games, Jun-ho slipped and told Gi-hun more than he intended about his time as an undercover guard. Armed with an explosive bit of knowledge, and still suspicious of Player 001 after their confrontation on watch, Gi-hun plans his rebellion better. Slightly better, but then, he's always had dumb luck. A small sacrifice for the greater good. When Jun-ho finally finds the island, it falls to him to make the call about the disclosure of Player 001’s true identity. Never mind that Gi-hun might just figure it out on his own, opening a Pandora's box to a perfect storm.

Gi-hun miraculously survives the fall, but suffers severe injuries. He wakes up from a coma with lost memories and only one name on his lips - Young-il.
In-ho seizes the opportunity to rewrite history and right his wrongs by being the perfect partner to Gi-hun and raising Jun-hee's baby.
But recovery isn't an easy road, and Gi-hun is forever changed, both physically and mentally. And when Gi-hun's growing doubts and the looming resurrection of the Games start threatening their new life together, In-ho is desperate not to lose another person he loves.

The ancient philosophy of Yin-Yang treats opposing forces as not paradoxical, but complementary entities which push and pull each other to maintain the balance in the universe; light is not merely the absence of darkness, old not the opposite of young, the masculine not the counter to the feminine. Even though yin and yang seem to be antithetical, one has no meaning without the other.
My season 3 fix-it fic follows Gi-hun, In-ho, Jun-hee, Dae-ho, among others, as they grapple with the aftermath of the rebellion while confronting their own demons. Please note that this fic follows multiple characters from the show, but the primary focus is on Gi-hun and In-ho, and their dynamic.The title is inspired from the phrase “journeys end in lovers meeting” coined by William Shakespeare in Twelfth Night. It has been used multiple times in The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson, and this novel is where I have borrowed it from.
