Summary
“You’re funny. And you don’t get mad when I talk a lot. My hyung says I talk too much, but he never tells me to be quiet. And you don't too. So I think you and hyung would get along. He doesn't really have any friends anyway. He spends all of his time with me.”
“Kid, if your hyung’s really a cop, I’m the last person he’d want to get along with.”
Jun-ho tilted his head, confusion flickering in his wide, dark eyes. “Why?”
“Because,” Gi-hun said finally, the word dragged out like gravel, “I don’t like cops.”
Gi-hun has a short break, In-ho has a job to do, and Jun-ho… well, Jun-ho is here to make sure neither of them get away with anything.

Summary
After a tragic car accident, a young detective's life falls apart. He barely escapes with his life, while his young brother continues to struggle in a coma. In the hospital, he meets a man who was supposed to be just a male nurse — his brother's guardian — but who becomes someone who restores his faith that even after the greatest pain, love can still be found.
When the little boy finally opens his eyes, he sees something his older brother refuses to see — a spark between him and the male nurse. But fate, as always, has its own plans. Because just when everything seems to be falling into place, a diagnosis arrives that will change their lives forever...
A story about love that heals. About pain that unites. And about hope that refuses to give up.

Summary
During the planning stages of Gi-hun’s obsession with the games, Jun-ho slipped and told Gi-hun more than he intended about his time as an undercover guard. Armed with an explosive bit of knowledge, and still suspicious of Player 001 after their confrontation on watch, Gi-hun plans his rebellion better. Slightly better, but then, he's always had dumb luck. A small sacrifice for the greater good. When Jun-ho finally finds the island, it falls to him to make the call about the disclosure of Player 001’s true identity. Never mind that Gi-hun might just figure it out on his own, opening a Pandora's box to a perfect storm.

Summary
The darkness thickened below, no longer street, no longer stone. Just an endless black that opened to swallow him whole.
Gi-hun closed his eyes. Not in fear. Not in surrender. In clarity.'Give me another chance, he thought. Just one more. I won’t be naïve this time. I won’t fail them again.'
The roar of the wind thinned into silence. The faces faded, the contradictions dimmed, only the word “complicated” came to his mind. There was only the vow, burning bright in the dark.
Then — nothing.

My take on the Time Travel Fix-it for the half-ass open-ending we got as the series finale.

Summary
It's only natural that the first throat that the knife finds home in belongs to player 100. The old bastard had been awful from the start. Yelling crude insults; accusing him of getting his friends murdered; trying to murder Junhee's daughter. It would have been insane to keep him alive, Gihun thinks. He almost relishes in the way the red blood bubbles to the surface of the man's skin, his breath stuttering and halting only a few moments later.
Player 203 stops breathing soon after. He leaves 353, 039 and 336 alive. They'll be the sacrifices.
Now, he just has to convince the other two to team up with him.

Or; in which Gihun doesn't easily forget that the Os wanted to kill Junhee's baby, and makes use of Junhee’s ex-boyfriend and the only other X voter

Summary
After the games have ended with the most winners ever, 7 to be exact, Gi-hun returned to the motel.
One night, a stranger came knocking on the the front door and Gi-hun decided to see who it was.***************
The man who caused him all the loss and suffering he felt, was standing right in front of him, unarmed and with a bottle of soju of all things.
The masked man raised his hands, as if he's surrendering, “it'd be nicer if you put the gun down.”
“Answer my question. Why are you even here?” The rage and anger directed to the masked man just filled Gi-hun's head, “it better be a very good reason if you wish to live another day.”
“You promised Young-il you'll drink soju together. I'm simply doing a favour.” -

Summary
"I hate you." Gi-hun says between sniffs. “I hate you.”
In-ho drops the gun, pulls his arm and takes him into a hug. Gi-hun doesn't hug him back, but rests his forehead on his shoulder. "I hate you."
"I know." In-ho runs his fingers through his hair; it really is growing back. "I know."
“I hate you.” Gi-hun dampens In-ho's shirt but he doesn't care. He doesn't dare to let him go.
“Shh… I know.”
The island was destroyed. All that's left are two winners who are learning to deal with the burden of survival.

Summary
The worst four years of Gihun’s life didn’t end the way either of them anticipated. Inho stopped the Games at the very last second, and now, back in Seoul with feet on dry land and no real place to call home, Gihun and Inho are left to figure out how to navigate a life neither of them expected to still be living.
Gihun has to keep living - for Gayeong, for all the friends and family he’s lost, for the ones who are still alive. This means finally talking to the people he’s been keeping at arms length, giving them the answers he’s been holding close to his chest. It means making decisions for himself and not just for revenge. It means raising a baby he never planned to have.
Inho has to keep living for Gihun.
But the Games are bigger than them both and far from over. A few bombs on an island aren’t enough to put an end to it all. Faced with some difficult decisions to make, Inho may already be in too deep to choose wisely and Gihun finds himself yet again at the centre of it all.

Gihun’s rose tinted glasses prevent him from seeing how terrible Inho actually is despite all of the warnings. Gihun is so certain Inho is the sweet devoted husband and father he thinks he is.
Maybe he knows he’s wrong.

Summary
Hwang Ji-a has always wondered about the father she's never met. A man who disappeared from her life before she could even remember him. Now 17, she stumbles upon a dark connection between her father's mysterious disappearance, and an old business card with a circle, triangle, and square tucked away in a black box wrapped with a pink bow. Determined to uncover the truth to give her Uncle Jun-ho some closure, Ji-a takes a leap of courage and enters the 46th Squid Game, where she will unknowingly fight to survive deadly children's games for a cash prize of 45.6 billion won.
Hwang In-ho chose the island over the world. A world he sees as irreparably cruel. As the Front Man, he watches the games from the shadows, believing the players are nothing but trash, already dead and waiting to be discarded. But when his daughter, Ji-a, enters his games, In-ho's bitter detachment is tested in the most brutal way. His deep hatred for an unchanging world clashes with the remnants of his own humanity—the love he has for his family.

Unknown to pretty much everyone except for his mother and by extension, Sangwoo's mother, Gihun's first love was ice skating. He was naturally talented at it. After suffering from the horror of the game, he decided to finally do something for himself and let himself forget about the game just for a while.
Until certain people started to show up and disrupt his peace, all he wanted was to take a breather by doing what he loved, but apparently, the universe refused to let him rest. Also, can the men stop looking at him like that?
