Summary
November 20th 1984, Hawkins, Indiana.
After saving Hawkins, and possibly the world, again, all Steve wants is a semi-normal Thanksgiving. That, however, doesn't seem to be in the books. Two days before the holiday, the news at eight plays a rather interesting headline that has Steve holding his breath and clambering for the phone as quickly as possible.
Or, the one where The Walking Dead and Stranger Things fuse.

Summary
Gorgeous and neatly dressed in a suit and tie, but obviously some sort of disaster. The man sits down smelling faintly of airport bar, orders a drink as soon as the flight attendants will let him, and downs it.
With zero brain to mouth filter that often strikes him in front of pretty guys, Eddie says, “Woah there, sailor. You okay?”
The man looks at him, blinks, and gives him a wide smile that looks unnervingly genuine, then says, “Nope, not at all.”

Summary
It's 1985 and in the quiet months before Hawkins starts to burn again, Mary-Elizabeth MacKinley is already unraveling. She's graduating this year. Vinyl Frontier is relocating. Eddie’s leaving for Indianapolis. Her mom is seeing someone new. Babysitting Dustin is about to be a thing of the past. And the future—whatever that even means for a girl like her—is coming fast. To make things more confusing, somewhere in the middle of it all, Steve Harrington keeps showing up with dumb jokes, soft eyes, and a patience she doesn’t know what to do with.
Then Starcourt Mall opens. Neon lights, minimum wage, and new friendships start pulling everyone back together. But beneath the food court and escalators, something ugly is waking up. Something that makes all the other battles they've fought look harmless. Something that makes the change of growing up feel like the least of Mac's problems.

Summary
“Hi,” he said, flashing a nervous smile. “Are you okay?”
The words felt dumb tumbling from his lips and the man picked up on it just as fast. A stunned, sharp exhale came from the man, and Steve flinched internally. “Really, Harrington? Am I okay? Well, my fucking hands are bleeding and my jeans are completely fucked if you couldn’t tell – so I would say I’m somewhere between not okay and get the fuck out of the car, dude.”

Summary
"His gaze dropped to the man's mouth again, that was pressed into a serious grim line now.
He had fangs. Fangs. Like a – vampire. He felt the hairs on his arms stand up and adrenaline rushing through his body. For a second he thought about reaching for the knife that was still tucked in the front pocket of his jeans. Fangs were meant for predators. To hunt. To hurt. To kill."Or: Steve goes to Eddie's abandoned trailer to look for something to comfort Dustin with.
He finds a lot more than he bargained for. -

Summary
“Harrington,” he croaks - god why, why do I have to sound like that in front of him - he clears his throat, continuing, “you couldn’t have done me a favour and let me die in that shithole, spare me from Dustin?”
Steve finally turns to look at him, grinning madly. Fuck, Eddie thinks, fuck this is so unfair. You’re just standing there looking at me like that, smiling, all broad and pretty and scarred up, fuuuck.

Alternatively titled: the Steve Harrington bisexual crashout of 1986. Because vecna might be dead- but repressing your feelings (and trying therapeutic D&D with the direct cause of your identity crisis)- is quite enough to be getting on with.

Summary
Steve Harrington's life is perfect on the outside, but inside he feels like he's drowning. He is plagued by nightmares that he doesn't remember, his parents treat him like a trophy at best and something unwanted at worst, and though his faith is strong he finds himself questioning God when he learns the truth of his past.
Eddie Munson's return to Hawkins is unpleasant to say the least, with a sick uncle to care for and rumours galore to dodge, but new and unexpected friendships make the difficulties worth it. Especially the budding, fragile relationship that begins to grow between him and the boy he saved so many years ago.
In the end, perhaps they will find their salvation in each other.

Summary
Midnight, November 1983: Head cheerleader Rhiannon Liu’s perfect life shatters when an occult-obsessed rock band drags her best friend and her into a deadly ritual. After it goes horribly wrong, making her the sole survivor, she’s left with an altered appearance and an insatiable hunger she can’t explain. None of it matters when she just wants to be normal again; not the mourner who lost her other half, and definitely not Hawkins’s famous final girl.
But her grip on the student body is slipping right out of her perfectly manicured hands. Just as she considers calling it quits on the popularity game, Steve Harrington approaches her with a bizarre plan: "I wanna get back at Nancy and you wanna be at the top again. So… what if we joined forces and pretended to be together?"
How very.

Summary
Max stares with wide eyes as two boys fall through the door. The shorter one (but barely, maybe no more than an inch shorter) is wearing a varsity jacket and stumbling over his feet as he walks backwards. His arms are looped around the taller boy’s neck, and he’s still laughing. The taller boy wears a vest layered over a leather jacket, has untamed hair, and looks at the shorter boy with eyes that make Max feel like she’s intruding.
Both boys’ clothes are slightly rumpled, and she only now realizes that the taller boy’s hands are resting on the other’s waist. They haven’t seemed to notice Max or El, and the taller boy uses his foot to kick the door shut.
El calmly says, “Steve, we are watching Dracula. Would you and Eddie like to join us?”
Steve and Eddie jerk apart, finally noticing Max and El in the room. They glance at each other, a whole conversation held in that one look. It is, apparently, a conversation that Eddie loses, because he sighs as Steve grins. “How far are you?” Steve asks, kicking off his shoes before collapsing onto the couch.
(A/N: Strongly suggest reading the other two parts first to avoid any confusion.)

Summary
The beginning of senior year brings more changes with it than Eliza could have ever expected. Outside the move of the Byers family to California, the deaths during the mall fire haunting the town and lingering trauma, high school still continues to be just as challenging and nothing is as it was before. Somehow developing a genuine friendship with Robin while ignoring her feelings, trying to keep the Party from falling apart and figuring out the perfect college to go to are just the tip of the iceberg.
Or an interlude between S3 and S4 in which Eliza and Steve need to deal with the impending future and what that means for their friendship while trying to get over their crushes (with varying success).

Summary
Steve Harrington and Eddie Munson have one thing in common, and that is their love for a certain group of kids. They don't like each other. They don't trust each other. They each come with their own set of issues, prejudices and unhealthy habits. Hoepfully the co-parenting won't awaken anything, or trigger the long, messy path of healing all those underlying issues that prevent both of them from forming healthy relationships with people their own age.
Featuring:
- Eddie getting the shovel-talk from increasingly unlikely people
- Steve obsessing over Eddies hair
- Eddie quoting shakespear bc I said so
- Steves parents remembering they have a son
- Eddie being as freaky as I can physically make him
- Steve skipping the bi-crisis to obsess over Eddie
- Max accidentially collecting parental figuresWarning: I'm working on half-knowledge reagrding the actual stranger things plot. I'm just here for the idea of the guy who's spent so much time trying to get other people to like him that he forgot who he is beyond that falling for somebody who doesn't know how to be anybody but themself, no matter how much it hurts
POVs will switch between Steve & Eddie -

When Steve turns 18, he is allowed more freedom. Summary
Steve should be happy with his life. From an outsider's perspective, he has it all - a lucrative job at his father's internal medicine practice (which he stands to inherit), generational wealth, and an endless line of dates with eligible young women. But nobody in his life knows that he's a queer man aching for community and deeper connection.
When he stumbles upon a performance by Eddie Munson and the Spiders from Mars, the delicate balance he's built in his life is thrown into disarray. Eddie, a flamboyant man who insists that he's from another planet, shows Steve what it would be like to let go of all of his preconceived notions of what a life should be. Steve has to decide if he will take the lesson to heart, or if he will cling to what he knows.
