Work wherein Murtessa's attempts to forcibly marry Jay are taken seriously instead of played for laughs. Nadakhan also haunts the narrative because for some reason Jay cannot know peace in Ninjago.

I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS OR THINGS MENTIONED IN THIS FICJay's trust is forever broken. For as long as he can remember, he's been lied to and played with. Well, not anymore. So it surprises even him when he accepts the ninja's offer to stay at their monastery. Things get worse when Jay starts remembering his actual past, and it has to do with pirates? Not to mention the stupid, magnetic tug he feels every time he's around the water ninja...
Nya would rather die than go through what she went through after the merge again. She promised herself years ago that the first person she would tell would be Jay, her yang. But this Jay is so much more different than the Jay who loved and adored her. Nya doesn't think she could tell him anything. But she doesn't know how long she can go on like this, without telling anyone. She didn't know how long she could hold on.
In other words, Jay's only memories are of the nefarious Nadakhan, and Nya's been through.. a lot after the merge. They don't have anywhere to go to. Except each other...

When they learn that they quit him. Now he’s in high school and the only thing that's changed is that he’s older.
Oh and the fact he’s the green ninja and he has a team.
They don’t know his identity and he’d like to keep it that way but it seems the others don’t.
