Jay is working /with/ the ninja, and hating every second of it. He doesn't trust them, not after Ras... not after the administration... Everyone was always lying to him.
They all keep pretending to know about his past, but what could the pink haired Imperian possibly know about him and his memory loss, and why would he believe her? Did he lose his memories during the merge, or sometime after?This is a continuation to my one shot Jay's new hair. Some parts won't make sense unless you have read that. There is descriptions of torture, but it doesn't get too graphic.

Summary
Line of work, as if she’s not contributing to people’s addictions, and potential deaths. Jay wants to laugh, even though he knows it’s not exactly her fault, but he also knows that he’s not stupid— he’s spent a majority of his life on film sets, knows when people are genuine and when they’re not. Addiction’s a disease and all, and it’s not like Nya has the cure, but she doesn’t have to dish the virus out, either. She’s pretty, and seems smart enough, yet, she’s doing this for a living. Really, it’s bad enough to be an addict, but how do you justify being the dealer?
jay and cole’s job was simple enough; take a delivery from Borg Industries to Kryptarium Prison. get paid. continue on with their lives. they just didn’t expect to get mixed up with the smith-jiang family, or the absolute dynasty that is the drug cartel that they run.

“Huh?” Cole glanced up to Kai, before continuing his dig through the debris with a wave of his hand, “Ah, let him have fun. It’s not like he’s serious about it. So what if every girl on Ninjago’s trying to be the future Mrs Jiang?"
He had to laugh at that, for his own sake, “Please. A future with Kai? I wouldn’t wish that upon my worst enemy.”

It was a beautiful color, really, and he found himself staring at Nya’s silhouette, tall, graceful, and radiant, even like that. Blue had always been their color. It suited her so well, too. He remembered looking into her dark, almond-shaped eyes and feeling like she was absorbing his soul. He missed that.
Like a punishment for getting distracted, the pink ninja hit him hard in the stomach, and he landed on the floor, scraping his knees. It hurt like hell, and he let out a pained groan, pressing a hand to his ribs as the pain burned through him. He was weak. He was not the same ninja who had fought against Kalmaar's army. At that time, he had had the love of his life and his friends beside him. Now, he did not even know if they still considered him one of them.
