Nya sighed as she stood at the store front, she loved working at their fathers shop even if she never met him. It was more her brother's shop now but she wouldn't say that out loud Kai was always a bit touchy about that.
“Good evening.” He didn't look up so his large straw hat covered most of his face, she didn't want to make assumptions but she did keep her guard up just in case it didn't happen often but people had tried to steal from them in the past which she thought was quite silly because they had plenty of payment options.

<“You guys would not believe what my mom said when I came home late last night!” Zane complains unconvincingly. He does this almost every time the conversation lulls, and in the diner they usually choose for their after-school hangout, it lulls a lot.
Kai rolls his eyes, but he gets ready to listen regardless. Nya doesn't even look up from her phone, her brain easily passing over Zane’s conversation filler. Jay furrows his eyebrows, confused, because he knows Zane doesn’t have a mom—they all know Zane doesn’t have a mom. Lloyd just sort of frowns, waiting.
“Oh, man, what'd she say this time?” Cole asks, sounding genuinely concerned as he puts his drink back on the table. Well, someone doesn’t know Zane doesn’t have a mom.>
Or, 5 times Cole is completely oblivious to Zane being a robot, and 1 time he finds out!

Someone who wanted to end it would want to make sure that fall was their last fall. He had so much he was looking forward to- it just makes no sense! Everything about his death just doesn’t add up.”
Jay’s mouth went agape and his posture stiffened as he listened wordlessly. “How do you know all that?”
“He’s told me stuff,” It took controlling every neuron in Kai’s brain to not obviously glance into the occupied seat beside Jay. “Before he died!” He quickly clarified.
“Uh yeah I would assume before he died,”
Kai felt his face heat up, likely turning beet red. Then he erupted into an exaggerated laughter. “Right, haha, yeah duh,”

The events of dragons rising S3e10 but they go so much worse.
When Thunderfang is released, the chaos that creates is way more powerful than anticipated. Reality starts to crumble in on itself and the Merged lands are at risk of total annihilation.
The Source Dragon of Flow steps in to banish Thunderfang from this realm, seeing one being capable of permanently getting rid of Thunderfang without it affecting this realm...the Harbinger of Chaos. Although in order to get rid of chaos, you must also get rid of order. And so, the ninja are banished as well to this new realm, all being transported in different places in time.
Cole is left in the merged lands believing his friends to be dead, but he finds out through an old face that this is not the case.
While Nya and Arin wake up in a strange dump, a golden and crimson staff impaled in a grassy area of a mountain. But it seems they're not the only ones there, some weird bull people are as well. Plus an unexpected young man...
With the addition of the Ninja in the world of Monkie Kid, you can expect the story to shift a little...

Jay’s ears rang. The music was too loud and the lights were too bright. He closed his eyes for a second. He tried to think, yet his thoughts felt messy and jumbled together.
Jay felt his arm getting grabbed. He opened his eyes and tried to see who it was, but his vision was blurry. Somebody said something to him and began pulling him away from the crowd.
Jay tried to calm himself down. It was probably Kai, he thought. He had passed the bathrooms not long ago.

It wasn’t fair. Not at all. Lloyd should’ve understood that. In his life, no matter how short so far, nothing had been fair. But knowing that people that weren’t him got to have his family? It felt like a harsh blow. It felt harsher than anything he’d felt. Was it gonna get worse? Would it get better? How many times had he asked himself that now? He’d stopped counting.
Ninjago city wasn’t nearly as friendly as he remembered hearing, people saw him and sneered. They stared, snickered, then they would walk away. As far as Lloyd knew, these people were supposed to help him! And yet, they weren’t. Not one bit. And he hated it. He hated the ninja. He hated his father, the new and reformed version. He hated his mother, Wu, Darkleys, he hated it all.

Kai was ditched by his friends again. Well, not really, Cole, Nya, and Lloyd wanted to go on the boardwalk rides, and there was no way Kai was doing that. So Kai just kept walking along the shoreline. Kai ended up on a secluded part of the shore. He started building stuff out of sand. After an hour, he felt like someone was watching him. he finally saw a tuft of auburn hair sticking out of the water, but the second Kai called after it, the person swam away. (dw guys zane is also a merman, so he's mentioned later) -
