A Dragons Rising AU in which Jay and Nya are married not long after the events of Crystallized, and Nya becomes pregnant right before the Merge. Trapped in physical stasis in an interstitial space bubble for years, Nya doesn’t even realize what happened until she and Sora set out on their search for a dragon core.
With a baby on the way, Nya has a lot to deal with as the events of the DR series unfold; staying behind in battle, trying to help Jay remember who he is and doing her best to protect their precious child from the ninjas’ many enemies. -

it isn’t taking a break by catching up on video games and movies you missed during fighting, or even getting to bake everyone “CONGRATS ON NOT DYING YOU GUYS” pies. (Also great, but not the point here—-)
Sometimes, the BEST thing about winning a final battle, is the part where you and your loved ones can FINALLY sleep soundly— No more insomnia, no more nightmares of losing everyone you hold dear, no more endless exhaustion and drained energy—-

Summary
Lloyd wakes up from a vision. Somehow it was even more terrifying than the previous ones. The Ninja's stables are empty, so Lloyd decides to look for them. Only to discover that his family put up with Ras and Arin. They made a deal. Ras will help them find Jay, Pixal and save Kai, while the Ninja help Ras undo the merge. And Lloyd is left out. That was a mistake.
(Or everyone is trauma fishing and bonding at the same time)

The only thing that stopped her from doing so was Lloyd bringing up Jordana. That fact made Jordana’s heart swell, but at the same time ache knowing that Sora almost willingly laid herself down in the claws of Lord Ras just for the promise of being close to Arin again. Sora much to Jordana’s dismay didn’t seem too remorseful, rather she still seemed troubled, as if staying wasn’t her best option.
